State Police have decided no charges will be filed against an Altoona police officer. This comes after an investigation that started back in September of 2014.
That’s when Altoona Police requested state police to investigated allegations of burglary and theft that were made against Officer Matthew McMuarry while he was on duty.
The investigation revealed those accusations were false, and there were no credible witnesses.
State Police said the investigation is now closed.
