The State College Water Authority is making an emergency repair to a water valve on South Allen Street at the intersection of Calder Way, Thursday.
South Allen Street will be closed from Beaver Avenue to College Avenue. Calder Way will be closed from Kelly Alley to Humes Alley.
The closure starts at 8:00 a.m. and will continue until 5:00 p.m.
Drivers are asked to find an alternate route while repairs are being made.
The sidewalk on the east side of Allen Street will remain open for pedestrian traffic. The sidewalk on the west side of Allen Street and on Calder Way will be closed at the intersection.
