HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Huntingdon County Emergency Management Agency will sponsor a one-day training on special water rescue situations on Saturday, June 8, at 8:30 a.m. at the Marklesburg Fire Hall.
Emergency services personnel, the US Army Corps of Engineers, State Agencies, and regional public safety groups will join the program.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., the training will move to Raystown Lake Aitch Boat Launch, located just off Route 26 in Marklesburg, where a watercraft will go out on the lake and perform various training exercises.
There will also be land-based demonstrations and training activities.
The fire company is providing lunch.
