A local hospital gets a new CEO. Tyrone Regional Health Network announced Monday, that Joseph J. Peluso has been appointed to replace Stephen C. Gildea, who resigned to accept another position.
Peluso previously served as the President and CEO of J.C.. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. The Tyrone Regional board says it chose Peluso from a pool of candidates because of his ability to build consensus, his experience in healthcare management and his keen knowledge of the region’s healthcare market.
He has been a preceptor at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate Schools of Public Health and Public & International Affairs and Penn State University’s Health Planning and Administration program
