Ferguson Township Police are investigating a homicide.
Officials say they were called to Irion St. in Pine Grove Mills on Thursday. Upon arrival they found 61-year-old Jean Tuggy who was already deceased inside her home. Police say there were no signs of forced entry and robbery does not appear to be a motive.
After an autopsy was performed on Friday, officials say the victim’s death was a result of a homicide.
The Centre County District Attorney’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police are assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ferguson Township Police Department.
