The 5th annual Guns & Hoses charity hockey game will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 25th at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown.

All the proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics of Cambria and Somerset Counties. The players have scrimmaged a few times to practice, but they said the game is just a friendly competition for a good cause.

“We’re all friends. A lot of us went to high school together. Some of us went to college together. So it doesn’t get too out of control,” said Patrolman Jason Shuman from the Richland Township Police Department.

Tickets are still on sale for $10. So far, they’ve sold more than 400 tickets and raised about $3,000.
