A Centre County man’s gun charges were bound over for trial, after his preliminary hearing Wednesday.
The man’s 12-year old son was accidentally shot in the head by his sister at a shooting range and is now blind.
The incident happened at the Scotia Shooting Range in Halfmoon Township.
Since then, 32-year old Anthony Vankirk II has been arrested on charges of illegal possession of firearms.
Two search warrants were filed for two residences in State College, where police said they seized seven guns and a large amount of ammunition.
