Government officials will make a series of announcements today about the future of the former State Prison in Cresson.
The group is expected to meet later this morning with several members of Governor Tom Wolf’s Cabinet to talk about possible ways to develop the prison property.
The prison was closed in 2013 by then Governor Tom Corbett, costing the Cambria County region 500 jobs.
