General Motors is trying to make up for window stickers that overstate gas mileage.
The company said it plans to offer 135,000 owners and lessees of 2016 SUV’s either debit cards or extended warranties, after GM retroactively downgraded EPA estimated gas mileage one to two miles a gallon for the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave.
