General Mills is recalling more than 10 million pounds of flour because it may be linked to an e.coli outbreak.
 
Almost 40 cases of the illness have been reported across 20 states and at least 10 of them have been hospitalized.  
 
About half of the people sick, reported making something homemade with flour before becoming ill.
 
The recall includes Gold Medal flour, wondra flour and signature kitchens flour.
 
All three brands were sold at Safeway, Albertsons, Jewel, Shaws, Vons, United, Randalls and Acme retailers.
 
Giant Food Stores and Martin’s Food Markets have removed select Gold Medal products, too.
