Tension increased at the Blair Mobile Home Park after one man found his gas line cut.
Joel Ramsey, a resident at the park, said Sunday night he found his gas tank tampered with and oil leaking everywhere outside his trailer.
Police said oil leaked under his trailer, making the area unsafe to live in.
Currently there are no suspects but Ramsey said this wasn’t an accident.
“‘I’m thinking it’s retaliation for me speaking my mind, and letting the truth be known about this trailer park,” Ramsey said.
Police said the park is under investigation for tax violations.
Officials said the county took ownership of 30-40 trailers because the park didn’t pay taxes, but the business allegedly continues to rent them.
Chief Terry Dellinger, of Freedom Township Police, said the investigation will take time.
“I’d just like everybody to be patient, try and let us do our job, I know it’s frustrating,” Dellinger said.
“I hope something can be done about this and I hope there will be justice about what they’re doing to people and ripping people off,” Ramsey said.
Ramsey’s neighbor, Pamela Musselman said she agrees.
“I’ve been here for 32 years, this is the worst it’s ever gotten,” Musselman said.
To add to the current conflict at the park, there’s new management and the owners changed the leases to start charging residents for water.
Precious Breinich, a representative for Blair Mobile LLC., said the leases state rules and guidelines are subject to change.
Musselman said the new water readings are not accurate and people are being overcharged.
Ramsey said after the gas leak his family have no choice but to relocate.
Breinich said as the investigations continue, the park will continue move forward.

“These changes are taking place and they’re taking place to make this a better community,” Breinich said.
Police said the DEP are expected to arrive Tuesday for clean up.
