Gardners Candies in Tyrone is celebrating 120 years in business, giving out monthly prizes all year long.
January’s winner won a bash cake.
The president of the company is thankful for all of the years in business.
“We started in Tyrone in 1897, still in the same town, still making candy for 120 years,” Sam Phillips, president of Gardners Candies said. “We’re going to do a lot of celebrating, a lot of events going on a lot of things planned throughout the year in all eight of our stores.”
The Gardners ice cream parlor, candy store and candy museum in Tyrone has become a destination for many in and out of the community.
