The Johnstown Flood Museum has started a fundraising campaign aimed at upgrading the facility and it’s being endorsed by the man who wrote the best-selling book on the 1889 tragic flood.
David McCullough is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the book.
The museum is looking to raise money for new interactive technology, to expand research and artifacts and to purchase a 3-D theater.
The campaign goal is $2.5 million.
