A former Northern Cambria police officer was sentenced Tuesday to 23 months probation after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges.
Officials say Matthew McMurray was arrested last October for trading steroids and prescription medication for oxycodone with an informant.
The district attorney’s office tells us McMurray could only be sentenced to probation because he had no prior record.
He will never be able to work in law enforcement again.
