The CDC says the number of confirmed flu cases across the country is still pretty low, but the illness is on the increase.

In Pennsylvania, the latest figures show flu activity  at the regional level, which means at least 2, but fewer than half of the regions of the state have had confirmed cases. Statewide, 950 cases have been confirmed, with the largest number in Allegheny County.

In our region, Centre County is reporting the highest number, by far, with 83 confirmed cases. Compare that to Blair County, with 7, Cambria with 8,  and Clearfield with 5 confirmed cases.
