Regardless of who you vote for this election is sure to make history.
Students from Portage Area High School cast their ballot for the first time. Cambria County Commissioner Tom Chernisky was there to thank them for performing their civic duty.
“These students, obviously they’re excited about voting today. It’s not just about today, it’s also about voting in the off year elections and it’s about continuing your right to vote. Educate yourselves about the candidates and vote for that candidate you think is going to best represent them moving forward.”
