A father is facing criminal homicide charges after his two-month-old died.
State Police out of Somerset say back on September 25th, Brandon Leer, 23, called 911 after his daughter became unresponsive at a home along Point Park Lane in Somerset Township.
Police say the baby would not stop crying so Leer angrily shook her for about a minute.
According to police, the baby suffered suffered a Bi-Lateral Subdural Hemorrhage and a contusion to the forehead.
She was taken to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh where she died on October 17th.
He was initially charged with aggravated assault on September 27th.
He is currently in jail.
