Two people were killed in a 3 car crash at Logan Town Centre around 6 pm, Tuesday night.

Police say James McCleary, 30 of Hollidaysburg was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee on Osgood Drive, when he lost control and hit the median.  

McCleary’s vehicle then crossed into the north bound lane, hitting a Chevy HHR, driven by Jerome Hayward, 50 of Hollidaysburg head on.

Hayward was pronounced dead at the scene.  His passenger, Kathleen Hayward, 59 also of Hollidaysburg, died at the hospital.

Three other people, including McCleary were taken to UPMC Altoona with injuries.  

State Police are helping with the reconstruction of the wreck, and the District Attorney’s office is also stepping in to help with the investigation as well.
