A Clearfield County firefighter, who died last year, is set to be honored in a national memorial.
Jeffrey Buck Jr. will be one of the 112 firefighters honored at the 35th Annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
Buck died due to injuries he suffered during a house fire in Lawrence Township in March of 2015.
He was just 18 years old.
Locally, a chapter of Bells Across America will honor Buck and other fallen firefighters on October 9th.
They will hold the ceremony at the Curwensville Methodist Church starting at 3 p.m.
