The co-owners said the new room will be designed like a mad scientist’s laboratory.

 

The Escape Rooms are a fun game, where groups of people are locked in a room and have to work together to look for clues in order to break out.

 

The owners opened the first room in October and said this is a great way for people to have fun in the city.

 

“We often hear there’s not a whole lot going on downtown, say after 5 o’clock. We just wanted to be a part of a solution to that. We saw a lot of escape rooms being built all across the United States and we thought, ‘Why not here in Johnstown?'” said Dan Shaffer, Co-owner of Escape Rooms Johnstown.

 

The owners hope the new room will be up and running in the next three to four weeks.
