The due date to apply for the state’s property tax rent rebate program has been extended.
You now have until December 31, 2016 to file that paper work.
Pennsylvanians who are eligible include people who are 65 or older, widows or widowers 50 or older and anyone who has a disability and is 18 or older.
Eligible people can receive a rebate of up to $650.
