The Tyrone Council voted Monday to prohibit feeding waterfowl, like ducks, to eliminate a nasty mess at a park in the borough.
According to the Altoona Mirror, duck feces has caused quite the mess at Reservoir Park.
The issue first came up last April when a group requested to use the park for a children’s activity.
Back then, a State Game Commission Officer deemed the park a health hazard.
Along with the ban for feeding the ducks put in place, the Council will now discuss ways to scare the ducks away from the park.
