Three first responders were assaulted while on scene of a drug overdose on Friday.
Police say it happened along South Imler Valley Road in King Township, Bedford County.
Bedford EMS was called to a drug overdose and while on scene, police say a paramedic and two EMT’s were attacked.
Bret Barefoot was taken to the hospital and charges are pending.
All three EMS personnel were unharmed.
