ALTOONA – Have you ever wondered how dangerous it is to drive in your county?
The Auto Insurance Center used data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to rank every county in the state over the last twenty years.
Several counties in our region were labeled dangerous or moderately dangerous. Bedford, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk and Huntingdon Counties all earned that designation.
On the other end of the spectrum, Centre, Blair, Cambria, Jefferson, and Somerset Counties were all listed as safe to moderately safe.
