A state trooper accused of threatening his wife with a handgun was in court today.
Terry Jordan, 46, Clearfield, waived his preliminary hearing, and the judge kept his bail at $1 million.
According to DA William Shaw, Jordan threatened to kill the victim and her children and also stated that no one would know and no one would care.
In arguing to maintain the bail, Shaw said the wife and two other witnesses are “deathly afraid” for their safety, and brought up a 2013 Philipsburg murder-suicide case that happened while a retired trooper was out on bail.
Jordan is being held in the Clinton County Jail.
