Creation Fest is back at the Agape Farm in Mount Union for its 39th year.
The four-day festival takes all year to plan and is put together by more than 1500 volunteers. They construct the big stage, help people find their campgrounds, run kids’ programs, games and seminars.
The festival is faith-driven, but one of the executive directors, Bill Darpino, said all are welcome. In fact, the more the merrier.
“Over the years we’ve been able to develop just an amazing community of people that come out and not only attend the festival, but one of the real strengths of the event is to be able to volunteer,” Darpino said.
Once the festival breaks down in PA, they’re on to Wisconsin and Washington state for the rest of the summer series.
