A wayward cow on a road may not be that out of place in some parts of the country…But in the Bronx, it’s kind of odd.
New York Police were able to corral the cow off the Major Deegan expressway using an exit ramp.
How did the cow get there?
Where did it come from?
Nobody is quite sure yet.
Police are investigating those questions…but in the meantime, animal control officials are taking the animal.
If it escaped from a farm, it could be the luckiest cow on earth.
Workers from a nearby animal sanctuary are on their way to collect the cow…and give it a permanent home.
Police aren’t expected to issue the animal a “moo”-ving violation.
