A Westmoreland County couple was found shot dead Wednesday, in what appears to be a murder-suicide.
58-year old Gregory Monk fatally shot his wife, 54-year old Patricia Monk, before fatally shooting himself, according to county coroner Joshua Zappone.
The shootings happened before midnight, at their home in Loyalhanna Township.
Both were found shot in the head.
An autopsy was performed Thursday.
State police continue to investigate.
