The budget impasse continues in Harrisburg, but some good news Tuesday for one county.

Centre County Commissioners said emergency funding has come through, allowing for some cash flow.

Commissioners approved a Tax and Revenue Anticipation Note at the beginning of the year in the amount of $10 million, but they said as of now, they don’t need to use it.

They said the county received $5.6 million from the state within the last week. This money is coming through after Governor Wolf released some emergency funding.

Commissioners are currently reviewing the county budget. They will vote on the final budget on January 26 and will approve it on February 9.
