Bill Cosby’s lawyers have filed a motion asking the court to either grant Cosby a new trial or reconsider his sentence.
The 81-year-old was convicted in April of drugging and molesting a woman at his home outside Philadelphia in 2004.
He was sentenced last month to three to 10 years in prison.
In the motion filed over the weekend, Cosby’s lawyers asked the judge to at least modify the sentence, so Cosby could be out on bail while he appeals his conviction.
Trial experts doubt the judge will grant the motion.
It is the same judge that sentenced Cosby.
