Police are still on the lookout for suspects who rammed a car into a Bellefonte small business overnight Sunday.

“It’s kind of a shock to the system,” Formalities Owner Tracina Fisher said.

Fisher couldn’t believe her eyes when she pulled up to her shop on Monday.

“The frame of the window had been smashed in and all the glass had been shattered and shoved inside. the door was busted in. We actually have a temporary door on right now,” she said.

Luckily, no gowns were harmed and no inventory was stolen, but the store was closed on Monday.

“The shop was freezing cold, so we did have to close Monday,” Fisher said.

For this family-owned, local business, losing a day of sales hurts – especially during busy season – but Fisher said it’s not going to keep them down.

“We’re going to do everything in our power to find whoever did this and bring them to justice,” Fisher said. “To send a message to the community that you know what, these small business owners who keep this community running, they’re not going to stand for it.”

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Spring Township Police. Both Fisher and Centre County Crimestoppers are each offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that may lead to an arrest.
