Conemaugh Health System recently released a statement after President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration. 

 

There are several doctors at CHS, who are from countries impacted by the temporary ban.

 

You’ll find the statement below:

 

“At this stage, we do not have enough information to understand the full potential impact of this order, but we do know that rural communities like ours often benefit from access to international clinical collaboration as we work to advance care.  As such, we are watching the impact of this order very closely and will work with our state hospital association and congressional delegation to respond to any issues that arise and find ways to preserve patient access to global medical expertise.”
