Seventy local police departments will participate in a seat belt enforcement from now through June 5th.
 
Seat belt use last year in the state was at about 83-percent. There were just over 13,500 crashes involving no seatbelts, over 400 of those were deadly.
 
Spring Township Police in Centre County say it’s one of the most common violations.
