Dubois could soon take over maintenance of two streets from the state.

City manager Herm Suplizio says PennDOT would pay the city as part of the Turnback Program.

It would affect S. Main and DuBois streets from Dixon Street up to DuBois Avenue.

The city would take care of plowing, sidewalks, and streetlights, with the idea that these streets fit in better as city holdings, Suplizio said.

The council could vote on the proposal at their next meeting.
