E-ZPass users can expect to see some changes at the tolls soon.
The PA Turnpike Commission will remove the red, yellow and green traffic lights, starting with the Harrisburg West Interchange.
The signals are now prohibited for use by federal guidelines.
New, enhanced technology will replace the lights. Turnpike officials say the change will reduce stop-and-go traffic through the interchanges.
That upgrade is expected to be complete by the end of this year.
