A Cambria County judge ruled Thursday that a Gallitzin borough ordinance was unconstitutional.
The ordinance restricted residential renting to individuals who were previously convicted on felony drug charges.
A local resident, who was unaware of the law, rented a home earlier this year in the borough and was evicted that same day.
They filed suit against the borough and a judge agreed that such a law would prohibit people from living inside the borough.
