CBS This Morning co-host Norah O’Donnell sat down with Mylan CEO Heather Bresch Wednesday in the executive’s first in-depth interview since defending her company’s EpiPen pricing practices before a congressional committee hearing in Washington last fall.
The extended interview will be broadcasted Friday, Jan. 27 on CBS This Morning.
Bresch, who came under fire for increasing prices on EpiPens, told O’Donnell, “This isn’t an EpiPen problem. This is a health care problem.”
CBS This Morning is the first media outlet allowed access to Mylan’s manufacturing headquarters in Morgantown, WV where the interview took place. Bresch addressed the congressional hearing on EpiPen price hikes; broader dynamics of the health care industry; how President Trump’s administration may impact her business; and how to change the broken health care system.
