A car crash happened just before 6 p.m. in Rush Township, Centre County off of Route 322 and Red Oak Lane Wednesday.
Numerous drivers reported an erratic driver, who was later identified as 53-year old Tad Rimmey of State College.
Rimmey crashed into a stone pillar, before leading a state trooper on a brief chase, where he was then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
He now faces several charges, including fleeing from police.
Rimmey was taken to the Centre County Central Booking on $10,000 straight bail.
