The first babies born in Cambria County in 2017 were twin girls at Conemaugh Hospital.
Spencer and Lindsay Walker, from Friedens, named their daughters Caydence and Camdyn.
The twins were born three minutes apart. Jan. 2 and arrived seven weeks early, so they will need to stay at the hospital for a period of time before they could go home to see their big brother, Colt.
“I don’t know if it’s hit him yet. But he’s excited,” Lindsay said. “He came by to visit. I’m nervous to take them home actually. But he’ll do fine.”
Come next year, the couple will now have three birthday’s to celebrate because Colt just turned three last week.
