Firefighters in Jefferson County doused a brush fire this afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. on G&S Road, about four miles from Punxsutawney.
Assistant fire chief Tim Fetterhoff says some people were burning trash in a barrel and it blew out and caught the field on fire.
He says the fire burned nearly two acres and only slightly damaged a shed.
