JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — According to Coroner Jeffrey Lees, skeletal remains were found on a hillside off of Roosevelt Blvd. in Johnstown at approx. 4:40pm Sunday afternoon.

Lees said an individual was using a metal detector in the area when they came across the remains and called 911.
A forensic anthropologist has been called to the scene. The Johnstown Police Dept. is assisting with the investigation. Lee said they’re in the early stages of the investigation.
