The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown issued its first Annual Report today on the protection of children and youth.

In the report the Board said that the Diocese has made “significant headway” in developing and implementing polices and procedures needed to protect children and youth.

The report covers many reforms, training, background checks, and other policies that protect youth who come in contact with clergy, lay ministers, volunteers and employees.
