A young child is dead and another in serious condition after a double fatal car wreck in Indiana County.
The wreck happened late Thursday night, just after 11 p.m. along Route 286 near Gemmell Road in Young Township.
Officials say Joseph Wells, 42, from Indiana, was driving the car when it spun out of control in front of another vehicle. Police say the impact was so bad that the car Wells was driving split in half.
Wells, along with a three year old boy were killed in that wreck. A one year old girl, also in that car, was taken to an area hospital.
Three other people in the other vehilce were also taken to the hospital with injures.
