A boil water notice is being issued by the Altoona Water Authority.
Officials say customers in the Eldorado Springs/Klock Development area being impacted.
On Feb. 4th, officials say a water main broke near 1187 Veterans Memorial Highway. As a result, there was a loss of positive pressure which can lead to an increased chance of water that may contain disease-causing organisms.
Customers are asked to boil their water for at least one minute, and let it cool, before using or drinking it.
Portions of the following streets are affected:
59th St., Box Car Ln., Brook Run Dr., Creekside Dr., Hillside Ave., Hilltop Dr., Lakeside Dr., Novak Ln., Pierce St., Poland Ave., Reiling Ln., Spring Run Dr., Timberline Dr., Valley Ave., Veterans Memorial Hwy., Vine Ln.
Ebner Elementary School was switched to another water supply over night and is not impacted.
