Three local children with disabilities are being helped in a big way thanks to some big hearted motorcyle riders.

Thanks to the efforts of the Burgi’s Low Life Riders,  $15,000 in checks were presented Tuesday night to Kailey and Zander nelson, siblings born with a genetic disorder and Paxton Burr, who suffers from brain damage after a near drowning incident last year.

More than 650 motorcycle riders rode in the 100 mile course on September 4th.

Andrea Burr, Paxton’s mother, said, “I think it gives our family some sort of hope. People and community know that there’s help out there for kids that need this kind of support for themselves.”

In the thirteen years for Burgi’s Low Life Riders, more than $300,000 has been raised to help dozens of local kids with special needs.
