Barnes and Noble announced plans to open four new concept stores that would have an expanded food menu that includes beer and wine.
The first store will open in October in Eastchester, New York.
Three more are set to open in Minnesota, California and Virginia.
Since making the announcement on Thursday, their stock has risen over 10 percent.
