‘The Voice’ star and Cambria County-native Josh Gallagher is performing at Friday night’s Tomahawks game.

Then on Saturday, Feb. 25th, the team is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the movie ‘Slapshot’ with a game at 12 p.m., followed by a celebrity game with stars from the movie at 3 p.m.

Scott McLachlan owns Scott’s by Dam bar right down the street from the Cambria County War Memorial Arena. He said he’s already bought extra food and is bringing in a few more workers in preparation for the big weekend.

“To me, I’m excited. I’m excited to see what happens with Josh over there, him singing the national anthem. A sell-out crowd is awesome for Johnstown. Tomahawks being in this town help us dramatically,” said McLachlan.

The bar owner said he is a Tomahawks season ticket holder and he’s only missed one game in five years and he doesn’t plan on missing the Tomahawks play this weekend either.
