OUTER SPACE (WTAJ) — Have you ever wondered what a sunset looks like from space?

These are photos taken by European Space Agency Astronaut Alexander Gerst from aboard the International Space Station.

Gerst tweeted “This is what a sunset on Earth looks like from above.”    

While we see a sky full of color from Earth,  there are only strips of color from space.
