Following a recall by Asher’s Chocolates, GIANT Food Stores, LLC and MARTIN’S Food Markets announced it removed from sale multiple Asher chocolate candy products due to potential Salmonella contamination.

The following products are included in this recall:
·         Asher’s Milk Chocolate Mini Pretzels, 4 oz., UPC 8944970151 with lot numbers 000336481 & 000335482
·         Asher’s Dark Chocolate Mini Pretzels, 4 oz., UPC 8944970152 with lot numbers 000335590 & 000336482
·         Asher’s Almond Butter Crunch, 4 oz., UPC 8944970000 with lot number 000335623
·         Asher’s Vanilla Caramels w/Sea Salt Dark, 4 oz., UPC 8944914666 with lot number 000336125
·         Asher’s Fall Prepack – Milk Chocolate Pretzels, 4 oz., UPC 8944988341 with lot number 000336450
·         Asher’s Fall Prepack – Dark Chocolate Pretzels, 4 oz., UPC, 8944988012 with lot number 000336450

GIANT/MARTIN’S has received no reports of illnesses to date. 

Customers who have purchased this product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to GIANT/MARTIN’S for a full refund.
