ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Christians around the world celebrated Easter on Sunday.

At Saint Catherine of Sienna in Duncansville, Blair County, the Roman Catholic congregation celebrated Easter mass .

Music played a big role in the celebration at Juniata United Methodist Church in Altoona. In the Christian faith, Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, three days after his crucifixion at Calvary.
